The setting is secluded but not remote and offers magnificent panoramic views of distant mountains, vineyards, orange groves and almond trees. Moraira is a small and pretty resort half way between Alicante and Valencia. The quaint old Spanish fishing village is only five minutes drive from the Pueblo. A fish market is held daily with Friday being the principal market day where you can buy souvenirs, fresh fruit and vegetables. The village has many shops, bars and restaurants. This area boasts 'the best all year round climate in Europe' according to the World Health Organisation.
