Situated in an envious location in the city
centre, just off Avinguda Diagonal, Hostel Felipe 2 Barcelona offers easy acess
to many of the city’s most popular attractions. A short walk to the west lie
the famous Passeig de Grà cia, address of Casa Mia, and Rambla de Catalunya, leading
down to Placa de Catalunya. Nearby Verdaguer metro station offers access to
further delights such as Sagrada Familia, L’Aquarium de Barcelona, Poble
Espanyol de Montjuic and many more.
Having been completely renovated in July
2005, Felipe 2 Hostel features stylish contemporary interior decoration, with
high ceilings and large windows offering spectacular views over the city. This
2-star hostel also has a lounge with three computer stations, and a light and
spacious sitting area.
The 21 well-fitted rooms are creatively
decorated with soft and warm tones and with all the modern facilities to
guarantee you a fantastic stay. A range of facilities is available, including
shared or en-suite bathrooms, large beds and balconies.

By train, from Barcelona-El Prat airport: Take the RENFE train R10 to ‘Passeig de Grà cia’ train station. Once
there, take metro line L4 direction ‘Trinitat Nova’ metro station and get off
at ‘Verdaguer’ station. The hostel is a 5 minute walk from this station.
By bus, from Barcelona-El Prat airport: Take the Aerobus outside the
airport and get off at ‘Plaça Catalunya’ stop. Once there, take metro line L3
direction ‘Canyelles’ and get off at ‘Diagonal’ station. The hostel is a ten minute walk from this station.
By bus/metro, from Girona airport: Take the bus direction ‘Station Nord’.
From there, walk to metro station ‘Arc de Triomf’ and take metro line L1 direction
‘Fondo’ and change metro at ‘Sagrera’ metro stop. Change to metro line L5 direction
‘Cornellà Centre’ station and get off at ‘Verdaguer’ metro stop. Leave the
metro station via the ‘Sant Joan’ exit, cross the ‘Diagonal’ street, then turn
right into ‘Calle Mallorca’ and look for the building number 329.
By taxi, from Barcelona-El Prat airport: The easiest way to get to the
hotels is taking a taxi. The price depends on how many pieces of luggage you
have (luggage transport costs). It costs approximately €30. Please not that this
price is just an indication.
Check-In: In order to check-in, you need to enter the building via the 3rd floor, you need to ring the bell and then proceed with your check-in.
