The building is designed by Josep Majó Ribas and built specifically as the Barcelona newspaper’s offices and headquarters. Opened in 1903, it is the only modernist-style building in the street. By bus, from Barcelona-El Prat Airport:
Take the Aerobus A1outside the airport and get off at 'Plaça Catalunya'.
The hotel is within walking distance from this station.The bus leaves the airport
every 12 minutes from 6:00 a.m. to midnight (6:30 a.m. on weekends and
holidays) and departs from Plaça de Catalunya from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (6:00
a.m. on weekends). Tickets can be purchased on the bus.

By train, from Barcelona-El Prat Airport: Take the RENFE train line R10
to ‘Passeig de Gràcia’ train station (25 minutes). The hotel is within walking
